Who wrote Paul’s gospel?

paulapostleiconFor all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” – Galatians 5:14

This short sweet phrase sums up the whole of what is required of humanity in order to experience peace, tranquility and paradise on Earth. Paul believed Christ’s reason on Earth was to express this axiomatic principal. For Paul, however, the concept of loving others as you love yourself was not a lofty, long term goal humanity would aspire to over millenniums. Paul believed that time was a factor- that Christ would return in his lifetime.

Paul’s belief in the immediate Apocalypse is evidenced by his words to the Thessalonians. Faithful in Thessaly were being murdered, beaten and oppressed- but Paul repeatedly told them not to fear. Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians promise that Jesus will return, and that they will see their dead rise and ascend.

“we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” – Thess 4-15:17

Among biblical scholars there are theories that Paul’s later writings were edited, re-interpreted and even faked in order to rectify the fact that Jesus did not return and the Thessalonians did not see their slain brethren return and ascend as promised.

In my novel Pale Horse- the true words of Paul play a deciding role in the actual End of Days. A young witch Jeniffer Corsica must unravel Paul’s true meaning to prevent the rising of a terrible evil. Read more on Amazon…
